Grit Post is real news by and for the working class. Our staff are all trained journalists with working-class backgrounds. We work in factories, in the nonprofit sector, and as state employees. We’re insurance adjusters, house cleaners, and servers. We’re teachers and attorneys.
We focus on covering political, economic, and policy-related stories that affect American workers and our communities, and abide by the highest standards of truth and integrity in our reporting. Corrections or updates to any of our stories are prominently listed along with the date and time the correction was made.
Grit Post launched in July of 2017, and our team has more than 50 years of collective experience in print, broadcast, and online media. We have been certified as trustworthy by NewsGuard, earned multiple True ratings on content evaluated by Snopes, and rated High in factual reporting by Media Bias Fact Check.
